Llandudno Junction: Haven for the primitive folk

Living in Llandudno Junction, Wales

Llandudno is a great town which is full of culture. Deganwy is nice and posh with its marina. Conwy is a magnificent town with its castle and walls. There is a town nearby however which feels like it is in a foreign country or in another time. This town is Llandudno Junction.

The high street (if you can call it that) Is one with limited choice. There are 2 cafes and 2 coffee shops open during the day as well as two chippys. One of the chippys is very good and quite frankly doesn’t belong in the town along with the trendy coffee shop next door. In terms of shops selling goods you have in the town itself just a small corner shop and the Coop which always seems to be understaffed and full of people buying scratch cards, cigarettes and alcohol. Countless time spent at the till waiting for others to buy their various vices. By the train station you have another cafe two more shops and a restaurant/pub. At night there are 3 places to go. Coop, The labour club and the Maelgwyn which looks like a shipping container due to its corrugated iron appearance. Not bad eh?

The locals bar a couple of honest and hardworking people are the star attraction of this place. If you were to walk around you would think there was a lobotomy clinic nearby based on the amount of intelligence exhibited in these people. Various workmen and their women in various forms. Imagine the Cantina bar in star wars but a whole town full of those creatures who speak a mangled scouse/manc accent. I swear when i hear some of them speak it sound like constant aggression coming from them. Almost as if they didn’t have the brain power to be gentlemen and ladys. Many wear the face of disdain for one another.

How grim is your Postcode?

This town is proof that idiocracy isn’t just a film but a scary glimpse into an anti intellectual future full of morons lacking any capacity for critical thought and appreciation of culture. If you leave the train station (Don’t) turn left and go to Conwy/Deganwy/Llandudno. The Junction isn’t worth it!
