180 wards where immigrants outnumber people born in the UK

Is a nice place to live or is rough?

With the release of the Census 2021 data, at iLiveHere we have been analysing the figures to see if popular right-wing immigration ethno-nationalist conspiracy theories are true. Is Nigel Farage (allegedly and in our view alone Nige) and others who are desperate to propel far-right white nationalist tropes like ‘The Great Replacement Theory‘ into the mainstream media, right? Either way, the table you see below will be copied and pasted into articles for ‘Barbara from Bournemouth types’ to have a xenophobic fit over in a comment section, much to the hawkers delight and wallet weight.

Data is nothing without context, but who cares about that when you need to scare your baby boomer readers into buying your dying print rag or look at your sidebar of shame again and again? Here’s some very young starlet in a bikini next to your daily dose of immigrant fear. So let’s put this into context, this represents just 2.36% of wards in England & Wales. Does that still sound bad to you Babs? Well contrast that with the 43.21% of wards in England & Wales where over 90% of the population WERE born in the UK (The average for England is 82.65%). It sure looks like we are being overrun to us eh Babs… and Nige!

Now let’s confront the more disgusting elephant in the room. The journalists (right-wing extremists for pay and billionaire media owner’s marionettes) and others of their xenophobic ilk who actually believe their own nonsense, like to insinuate that immigrants, because of their culture, are the cause of that they see as ethno-ghettos, not just undesirable areas because no one wants to live under Heathrow, for example. You’ll be able to spot them, because when they copy and paste the list above, they’ll (accidently of course) reduce the list count and take out those obviously hyper-rich areas of London that don’t match their thinly veiled hate mongering, such as:

  • 3. Wembley Central
  • 12. Hyde Park
  • 17. Marylebone
  • 25. Regent’s Park (Westminster)
  • 50. Knightsbridge & Belgravia
  • 77. St James’s (Westminster)
  • 122. Belsize

…and more

Maybe they’ll take them out for another reason? Maybe they’re the right kind of immigrant or there is a point when you can buy boomer acceptance, for example, when you become an oligarch Tory prime minister? We haven’t analysed the ethnic group data on a ward level yet, watch this space for more septuagenarian media deprogramming!
