Tanfield Lea

Not really so much a town as a village, Tanfield Lea, and nearby Stanley crawl with amoebal life of the charv variety. Deprived of anywhere interesting to hang around, our charvs limit their lives to standing about and bothering old women outside the shop, trying to steal food from passers-by “ootseede the chippy” and getting off their faces on low-quality tack by assembling ratties and buckets in the local woods, which they then throw randomly about the place. Thankfully, very few needles are found on the paths, but it makes any trip into the bushes a rather interesting lottery…

Peace

Dan
