The only reason crime levels are lower in Padstow is because The place is a veritable ghost town. no one knows how much crime is committed as a good percentage of houses are left empty accept for a few times a year or indeed are holiday homes. Crime levels are unrecorded I am from Padstow and there is enough crime that goes on. yes it is an ideal place to live but the real criminal act is that it has been sold out by the last generation and is now owned by city folk who have ripped the very soul from the place causing out migration and despair for its youth as they watch greedy bastards buy up their home and ruin it. That’s a crime that will never be recorded for sure but it doesn’t mean that we disassociated Padstonians are not the real victims. the council house ones that are left breed like flies, are real chavs and will disrupt the rest in any small way they can. there is a drug culture there and a drink culture. The place isn’t as some would have it inherently racist. The police probably don’t get round that way much as they couldn’t care less about Cornwall really bottom line don’t buy a house there because when the youth of Padstow finally realize whats left for them they will turn on you if you have and rob you silly. All power to them too
