Ah, Folkestone. That’s right – with an e. In fact, 2 -one in the middle, one on the end. So there you go – e’s, draw, you name it the chavs are on it. Bruv.

The most obvious thing to say about the chav culture in Folkestone is to point you in the direction of a section in the Folkestone Herald newspaper that is entitled:

“You’re Nicked! Who’s been nabbed this week…”

which is a kind of chav hall of fame. “A gang of 5 13-14 year olds were arrested last Saturday evening for being drunk and disorderly, high on drugs, vandalising property with the goods they had just stolen from cars, sheds and houses. They will appear in court next week” (to be released just in time for next Saturday’s chav night out).
