I’m surprised you haven’t noticed that none of your red “crime scene” markers are anywhere near Dunkirk. As an old resident of Dunkirk, from the late 60s, I must point out that Dunkirk is on the other side of the A500. Dunkirk was always a haven of peace, which is why, in the 60s we used to distribute and grow drugs there. It was also a hotspot for a group of hippy anarchists, who called themselves the Talke Pits Development Company. One of the TPDC, the late Chris Hornsby, held classes to teach local children how to make petrol bombs. In 1970 No7 Dunkirk was the scene of a massive police raid, which was the first bust of the newly formed Cheshire Drugs squad. The area seems to have quietened down considerably since my day.
